Coaching is a process whereby you and I work together to move your leadership forward from where it is to where you want it to be. It’s not consulting or mentoring, supervising, nor managing, and it’s not a form of counseling or therapy. It’s about building your vision, growing, and moving toward an amazing future for yourself, your company, your practice, your ministry or organization!
An investor contributes, time, finances, resources, wisdom, mentorship, leadership, improvement, compassion, unique skills, decisiveness, life inspiration to another person, entity or organization- for the purposes of Growth.
An operator is a person that performs a procedure, operates a machine, equipment or similar. There are of course times to be in both positions.
Briefly, consulting is imparting knowledge, tips, best practices, and expertise in the present moment. It is a transfer of knowledge.
Coaching or the type of process coaching that I do is supporting someone to a preferred future. It is aligning thoughts and actions toward that future. It is becoming aware of what limiting beliefs are present. It is also guiding someone to become more aware and watchful of what triggers certain emotions that hold them back as well as reinforcing strengths and gifts of preferred emotions that lead to a desired more permanent way of being and living that affects every aspect of life.

In a sentence, it is transforming a dreamer into a leader. It is taking your most precious and intimate dream and providing the environment for you to grow, heal and become the leader that your dream has called you to be as you grow closer to its attainment
It is all the soft points of ‘living” that don’t have to do with money. It is all the things that happen when we supposedly “stop being a dentist” At its very core; it is a life transition. With every transition comes emotion. Retirement coaching addresses how and what we feel so that our vitality can ultimately shine through.
It includes identity, health, friendships, travel, adventure, writing a book, volunteering, transitioning, fitness levels, legacy, new purpose, spiritual, living a new chapter. Well, now days it is almost anything that allows you to be truly heard as you plan for your ideal lifestyle.
a. The problem occurs early in their career and continues into mid-career. They fall into the trap that they can out- earn their expenses. Just because one can afford payments, doesn’t mean one should buy the item involved.

b. Understanding that it is difficult these days to simply earn and save their way to a retirement bucket of $4 million or more.

c. Would be waiting too long to plan what that next chapter will look like.

d. They lack leadership. They don’t become the leader that their vision calls them to be and therefore leave money on the table and unimpacted lives around them.
There are of course many reasons. Some are commonly referred to as the five-D’s; death, disability, divorce, distress, or disagreement within a partnership or other ownership structure. There is also, injury, burn-out and illness. On the more positive side there is a desire to re-locate, to merge into another office, or a change of equity ownership structure; a desire to take money off the table. The best reason is to have something bigger and better to go to.
